THE BAJA 1000 STARTS ON FRIDAY MORNING Alex Rossi will take on one of the most dangerous and iconic races of all time...the SCORE Baja 1000. Starting in Ensenada, Mexico, Rossi will drive the first leg of the 806.76 mile course, which is also crowded with thousands of fans cheering on the racers. There are a total of 296 entries, racers from 18 countries, and nearly 35 different classes of trucks, UTVs and motorcycles, sometimes vying for the same stretch of dirt. His fellow drivers include team owner Jeff Proctor, racing veteran Pat Daily, and the legendary 11-time Baja 1000 Moto Champion, Johnny Campbell.

APPROXIMATE TIME While the first motorcycles will see the green flag starting at 4am, the trucks will start rolling off the line after 10:30am. The Honda Off-Road Team is competing in Class 7, and will likely start around Noon or 12:30. The fastest finishers are expected to complete the course in approximately 16 hours.
