Alexander Rossi leaves the sixth round of competition in the 2015 GP2 Series third in the driver rankings after a very difficult weekend at the Hungaroring, Budapest, Hungary.
Friday's practice and qualifying session were met with typically sunny and hot conditions with air and track temperatures of 29C and 49C respectively. For practice, Alexander was one of the first out of pit lane and with the knowledge that overtaking is particularly difficult at the Hungaroring circuit, the emphasis was placed on a good set up for qualifying and race grid position.

Alexander Rossi once more showcased his race talent and consistency as the GP2 Series season ranking battle continued in Silverstone, set against the backdrop of the classic British Grand Prix. An unlucky weekend at the Red Bull Ring in Austria leaves Alexander Rossi just short of claiming yet more podiums, however maintaining his second place position in the battle for the GP2 Series driver title. With brake issues and early contact compromising both the Feature and Sprint races, Alexander showcased his talent and determination by fighting back up the grid to bring home more valuable points for him and the team.

The 2015 GP2 Series year kicked off in Abu Dhabi at the Yas Marina Circuit with all teams attending the first of the two pre-season tests.
The first session took place on Monday morning and with the circuit suffering from dusty and windy conditions, most of the teams used the first two hours of the session to work on the set-up of their cars. Towards the end of the first morning Alexander went fastest with a time of 1:50.845s, a positive start to the three day test.

Alexander Rossi Caterham F1 2013Alexander Rossi will get his first practice outing of the year when he drives the Caterham CT03 on Friday ahead of next week's Canadian Grand Prix.
The American was appointed the team's reserve driver earlier this year but is yet to drive the 2013 car on a circuit, having only carried out aero testing with it.
Rossi, also competing with Caterham in the GP2 series, last drove in practice in last year's Spanish Grand Prix.
